This skate video was another fun assignment that I had from Full Sail University.  I was given a video montage of skaters and was asked to write music and create sound effects to accompany it.  I found the entire project to be a lot of fun.  It really opened up my creativity because I had to write the music to fit the video. I found that I could relate to the people in the video which really helped me to write for the kind of energy that they were looking for.  I was familiar with skater music from the 90's which definitely helped but I eventually chose to write the music closer to a techno track.  I am happy with the way that I edited the music to emphasize certain scenes or even poke fun at them a little bit.  They all help to keep the viewer engaged and entertained.  Looking back, I would probably switch to entirely different songs at some of the points that become silent or need more emphasis.
