Savage Subversion is the third track off of an EP titled Bass Instincts that I finished in May 2019 under my stage name, Brobot. I had recently been studying euclidean rhythms and while I was writing some beats using them, I became inspired to write an EP that attempted to tell a story of jungles and tribalism.  This particular track is the story of a jungle tribe facing the invasion and destruction of their home.  Each track falls in to the EDM genre but I tried not to follow a lot of the standard formulas for dance music.

After finishing the EP, I decided to push myself a little further and learn how to make a music video using Final Cut Pro.  This video is the final result of that effort.  I wrote out a timeline of the song and how each section portrayed my story.  Then, I searched for free videos that fit that theme and stitched them together to create the video.  I also used plenty of effects like masks, transitions, and others to fit the videos with the music.  It is obviously an amateur effort but I look forward to making more videos.
